Joseph Helble

Provost, Dartmouth

Prior to becoming Dartmouth’s provost in 2018, Joseph Helble served for 13 years as dean of the Thayer School of Engineering. Before Dartmouth, he was professor of chemical and environmental engineering at the University of Connecticut. Helble was named a Roger Revelle Fellow by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, spending a year addressing technology and environmental policy initiatives in the US Senate.
